April 19, 1715, to the count of Pontchartrain, concerning wines from Canary and salts from Spain brought to Dunkirk by English ships, and the claims of the fermiers généraux. November 4, 1720, urging a prelate to make a decision... 7 September 1729, l.s. to Le Bret, on the birth of the Dauphin. 16 August 1744, on the illness of Louis XV: the news is better and hope is reborn... Thursday evening, to M. de Puysieulx, on the King's pardon in favour of an unfortunate man condemned by the Grand Council; but it would be necessary perhaps to make him undergo the question to know his accomplices... Attached: a p.a.s. by François d'Aguesseau (1658); 3 l.a.s. by the chancellor's sons (1737-1773); plus a l.a.s. from Mme d'Aguesseau de Saint-Germain.
