12 P.S. with autograph apostille "Accordé Henry," [ca. 1574]; 1 oblong page in-8 or small in-4 each. Placets beginning (except two) with "Plaise au Roy"; they still bear the trace of the folds, sometimes with a note on the reverse. Henry III writes at the bottom the word "Accordé" and signs. Requests of Jules de Glatigny, "patissier of late Madam of Savoy"; Pregeaut Meigne, chamber boy; the S. de Crenay asking for a place of squire for his son who accompanied him in Poland; five ordinary violins which ask to be "couchez on the general state of his house; Loys Fasset, "varlet de garderobbe". Requests for places as gentleman of the chamber by Chenault, ; S. de La Courbe, "to reward him for the great expense he made during the voyage of Polongne"; S. d'Aubigny to continue "the status of gentleman of the chamber which he had from the late King"; S. du Fresne, lieutenant of his guard; the count of La Rochefoucauld ("Plaise a la Royne"); S. de La Pierre (request from the cardinal of Lorraine).
