Correspondence relating to the de Lagau, de Fouques du Parc and de Lesseps families. Marie Fortunée de Lesseps (1798-1845) married Charles de Lagau, ambassador. Their daughter Fortunée Armance de Lagau married Eugène Fouques du Parc (1811-1886). Marie Fortunée de Lesseps was the daughter of Rose Catherine Ruffin and Barthélémy de Lesseps (childhood in Hamburg and St Petersburg, French vice consul, then member of the La Pérouse Expedition) and therefore the cousin of Ferdinand de Lesseps (1805-1894), who was the son of Mathieu de Lesseps (Hamburg 1774-1832), a diplomat and commissioner general in Egypt. - Correspondence from Barthélémy de Lesseps to M. de Lagau (1817-1818), his son-in-law. - Correspondence from Blanchet to M.
