GONCOURT, Edmond de. Facsimile of the first pages of the first edition of La Fille Élisa. Paris, Librairie de France, 1931. 1 vol. in-12. Full burgundy box, set of gilt triangles on black background at ends of boards, vertical black box title-piece encompassing gilt title and author, gilt edges, in lined slipcase. [M. BERNARD 1932]. This is a facsimile of the first pages of the original edition of La Fille Elisa, with watercolor sketches by H. De Toulouse-Lautrec. Up to page 60. Illustrated with eleven watercolor reproductions and five black drawings by Toulouse-Lautrec, added in 1896 to the original 1877 edition. This facsimile reproduction was printed by Daniel Jacomet. Edition of 200 copies, one of 175 numbered copies. A fine copy in an Art-Deco binding.
