Blue half-chagrin with corners, double gilt fillet on covers, ornate ribbed spine, gilt title and author, covers and spine preserved. Edition decorated with prints by Honoré Fragonard, Monnet, Touzé and Milius, engraved after the original drawings by Le Rat, Milius, Mongin and R. de Los Rios. Revised edition preceded by a notice by Anatole de Montaiglon. Engraved frontispiece and title. Deluxe edition of 400 copies, one of the top 100 copies on japon, with a double state of the hors-texte etchings. Rubbing to binding.
