Full chocolate-brown morocco, mosaic fastening motifs with black filleting on the boards, turning into title and author pieces on the spine, gilt head, covers and spine preserved, in bordered slipcase [M. BERNARD].
Edition of 150 copies, one of the first 100 reserved for members. De la Société.
Illustrated with twelve color compositions by George Desvallières and Valentine Reyre, wood-engraved by J. Germain: four headpieces and eight off-texts, including a frontispiece.
Text printed in large ornamental colored bands (4 different motifs).
Very slight white marks on boards.
