AFTER EDGAR DEGAS La Toilette, plate from the suite of Fifteen Lithographs, circa 1888, lithograph by William Thornley, 23.5 x 20 cm, margins 36 x 27.5 cm, fine and rare proof printed in sanguine on chine appliqué on white wove paper, signed lower right by Thornley and lower left by Degas, probable edition of 25 proofs before the letter, edition stamped at 100 proofs, tears and light stains in the left margin, tiny lack and light stains in the right margin.
