IRAN Manuscript Set of letters and documents in German in a leather binding with oriental stamp relating the first trip of the Shah of Iran out of Persia for the World's Fair. 24 x 15.5 cm. On the leather binding of this set of handwritten folios and a photographic portrait of the Shah has been affixed a Persian stamp giving the date 1273 AH 1856 AD hardly legible in gilded letters in nasta'liq giving the title of "muallam" professor. One of the letters in this notebook is dated 1873. Lot presented by Mr. Alexis RENARD.
