South China for export, and for Vietnam, 19th century Two blue-white porcelain bowls, one decorated with two deer under a pine tree and a poem (Mark Nội phủ under the base), the other adorned with symbolic motifs forming a vow "May you attain the three happinesses": longevity symbolized by the pine tree, official emoluments and honors by the representation of the deer, and happiness by the bat motif.
