China, Qing dynasty, Guangxu reign (1875-1908) Three blue-white porcelain hollow bowls, on small heels, with flared rims, one pair decorated on the rim with the seven sages in a bamboo grove, the interior decorated in a central medallion with wu fu around the "shou" symbol. The wing is decorated with prunus flowers, bamboo, chrysanthemums, magnolias... (Guangxu mark on reverse) and a hollow cup depicting orchids around a pierced rock and a poem evoking the Confucian gentleman. The inside depicts a longevity peach.
