China, circa 1880, Pair of octagonal vases in white porcelain, decorated in blue underglaze on both sides, with a dragon spread out among clouds and a lively scene of characters. Bamboo branches complete the ornamentation on the heel. Two lion heads form handles. Accents and restorations to one, firing defects. Chenghua apocryphal mark on reverse.
