MAUBOUSSIN, Paris Verger Frères. Circa 1940. A serpent-style bracelet featuring two rows of tubular links, each ending in knot motifs—one visible and one hidden—with the visible knot holding two pendants set with natural rubies (Myan Mar), the other, larger knot forming a box clasp secured by a curved bridge of three rows of round natural rubies (Myanmar, unheated), the whole accented by a section of the motif set with eight-eight cut diamonds. Hallmark of the Verger Frères house, which was later taken over by the Georges Lenfant workshop. Clasp safety mechanism to be re-soldered (supplied). Signed, located, and numbered 11139 and 4035 (ruby bridge), some traces of repairs. Gross weight: 78.5 g; length: 17.5 cm.
