A pair of corner cabinets richly decorated with inlaid flowering branches and foliage on rosewood quatrefoils set within curly violetwood friezes; curved in shape, they rest on three small arched feet and open in the same direction with a wide door. Reizell hallmarks. Louis XV period (standard restoration). Tops of Aleppo breccia marble (one restored; missing pieces). Label: “Col. H. Clowes D.S.O. 28.7 1952 54.” H: 90.5 – W: 65 – D: 47 cm.
