A carved alabaster medallion with a relief depiction of a man’s profile, facing right, likely “San Eusebio” according to the inscription surrounding it. On the reverse, an inscription and a date in pen. Italy, 17th–18th century. Diameter: 7.7 cm. Included is Désiré-Albert BARRE (1818–1878), after. Patinated copper medal. Obverse: Head of Louis-Philipper I in profile, facing left, in the classical style, encircled by an oak wreath. Inscription: “Louis-Philipper I / King of the French.” Below the neck, the signature “BAREE Ft.” Reverse: Laurel wreath; in the center, “Collége royal de Henri IV / Henri d’Orléans, Duke of Aumale / 1835.” Weight: 57.1 g. Diameter: 5 cm. (wear to the patina on the obverse)
