PUIFORCAT, in LIMOGES. "Chen Yang - 18th-century China" model. A dinner service made of glazed porcelain with polychrome decoration featuring flowers and geometric friezes on a white background. It includes: - 36 serving plates (Diameter: 24.5 cm); - 36 dinner plates (Diameter: 22 cm); - 12 dessert plates (Diameter: 19 cm); - 18 bread plates (Diameter: 16.5 cm); - 12 soup bowls (Height: 3.5 cm, Diameter: 19.5 cm); - 14 finger bowls; - One teapot; - 15 cups (H: 6 cm) and 18 saucers (Diam.: 13 cm); - 12 cups (H: 5.5 cm) and 12 saucers (Diam.: 14.5 cm); - 16 serving pieces, including small bowls, bowls, platters, a milk jug, a sugar bowl, a broth tureen, and a sauceboat. Marked on the base: “PUIFORCAT / Chen Yang / LIMOGES FRANCE / 18th-century China / Manufactured and Decorated in Limoges / Made in France.” 20th-century work in the style of the “Famille Rose” enamels (Chinese porcelain commissioned for the European market). Approximately 200 pieces. Included is a set of bowls, spoons, and various other items in enameled porcelain.
