Where one can see the Origin, & the succession of the House of Sales with the beautiful actions of its predecessors & its descendants, from the year 1000 to 1669. By Nicolas de Hauteville, priest, doctor of theology and canon of the Cathedral of Saint Peter in Geneva. In Paris, with the King's privilege & doctors' approval, 1669. [12 pp. not quantified] + 173 pp. Dark green half-maroquin with corners, spine with 5 nerves, decorated spine, red leather title pieces, dishes covered with marbled combed paper, red edges. Dimensions : 210 x 265 mm. Handwritten copy of this work by Abbé Nicolas de Hauteville, doctor of theology from the faculty of Paris, published in 1669. A note at the end of the work indicates the date of the manuscript copy: "This copy was completed in La Rochelle on September 15, 1861... [signed] H. de Salles".
