H. total : 28,2 cm H. glass : 14 cm Diam. glass: 12.3 cm Leg and foot missing, slightly crizzled A similar glass, also without its original foot, is kept in the Museum of Applied Arts of Castello Sforzesco in Milan, where it is hypothesized that it comes from a service intended for Ludovico "the More", Duke of Milan from 1480 onwards, where he succeeded in attracting a host of artists such as Bramante and Leonardo da Vinci. Chased out of Milan in 1499, he was imprisoned by Louis XII in the castle of Loches, where he died in 1508.
