Small circular porcelain bowl decorated on the outer wall in blue underglaze with two pentadactyl dragons chasing the sacred pearl among the clouds. On the reverse, four-character mark THIÊU TRI NIÊN TAO. Emperor Thiêu Tri (1807- 1847) was the third sovereign of the Nguyen dynasty. He ascended the throne in 1841, until 1847.
