Two circular porcelain bowls decorated on the outer wall in blue underglaze with two pentadactyl dragons (five claws) among the clouds chasing the sacred pearl. On the reverse side, four-character mark in blue THIÊU TRI NIÊN TAO. Emperor Thiêu Tri (1807-1847) was the third ruler of the Nguyen dynasty. He ascended the throne in 1841, until 1847.
