Pair of circular porcelain bowls decorated on the outer wall in blue underglaze with dragons chasing the sacred pearl among the clouds. On the reverse side, four characters mark THIÊU TRI NIÊN TAO. Emperor Thiêu Tri (1807-1847) was the third ruler of the Nguyen dynasty. He ascended the throne in 1841, until 1847.
Good general condition, a chip with a hair on the outer wall of one of them and a tiny chip on the edge of the other.
