Four octagonal porcelain bowls, one large and three smaller ones decorated on the outer wall with eight medallions representing dragons scrolled in blue underglaze, framed by two friezes of ruyi.
Four medallions are surmounted by a THIÊU TRI NIÊN TAO character. Emperor Thiêu Tri (1807-1847) was the third ruler of the Nguyen dynasty. He ascended the throne in 1841, until 1847.
