Two rare small porcelain dishes of octagonal form decorated in blue underglaze with a dragon in the center treated in scroll framed by four characters THIÊU TRI NIÊN TAO, surrounded by eight dragons on the wing.
Emperor Thiêu Tri (1807-1847) was the third ruler of the Nguyen dynasty. He ascended the throne in 1841, until 1847.
