Famille rose porcelain and enamel Hu vase on a small heel, decorated in light relief with furniture objects, vases filled with flowers, auspicious motifs, animals and fruit resting on a gilded background. The interior is lightly blue enamelled. Two elephant heads form handles. Neck opening and heel marked with garlands and friezes in light relief of ruyi heads, lotus petals and interlacing swastikas. Apocryphal Qianlong mark in zhuanshu incised on reverse. H. 27 cm.
