Vietnam, 20th century, Orange-yellow silk gauze "Ao Nhât Binh" coat, lined with orange silk, decorated with polychrome and gold thread embroidery of nine unfurled phoenixes amidst stylized clouds and "longevity" motifs. The lower part of the dress features chevron motifs and foaming waves from which coral branches emerge. The collar features nine small phoenixes on a beige silk background.
