Polychrome carved wooden subject depicting the Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara (Guanyin) seated in the royal relaxation position, known as Rājalīlāsana, her two hands with the middle finger, ring finger and thumb folded, and the other two fingers raised, said in tarjānī-mudrā (the gesture of threat against malevolent spirits).
