With illustrations by Jacovleff. Here, Nachbaur takes Tchou-Kia Kien's text and enriches it with popular Chinese images. With a mailing "To my dear old Marechal in memory of my life as an Asian. Chinese masks have not made me forget Babar's good face. Shanghai 15 March 1928". Binding damaged with stains to cloth.
