Mother-of-pearl Nautilus richly mounted in silver, decorated with garlands and lion masks supported by a triton resting on a three-lobed base with repoussé decoration of horses. The bowl is topped by a rider on a sea horse.
German work, probably Hanau, circa 1900 with apocryphal hallmarks.
