MELLERIO DITS MELLER Gilt bronze desk clock with alarm function. Yellow gold-plated square case and black steel. Gilt dial, gilt shotgun hands. Sulfide hour-markers depicting woodcock, pheasants and wild ducks painted on a mother-of-pearl background. Hand-wound 8-day movement, alarm function. Presented in its original case decorated on both flaps with two silvered bronze medals bearing the inscription "Agents de changes Paris" and on the other medal "ET. SERVAT. ET. AVGET 15 1898". Signed "Mellerio Paris, nᵒ 2343-864 and 597 M.", and marked inside the case, "Mellerio dits Meller, 9 rue de la Paix Paris".
