Civil sword, Third Republic. Chased and gilded brass. Pommel decorated with a frieze of pearls, cornucopia quillon and vegetal scroll joint arch. Finely openwork keyboard. Mother-of-pearl plates. Straight, acid-etched blade with triangular cross-section. Leather scabbard with two brass fittings (accident). France, Third Republic period.
