Officer's sword, First Empire. Gilt bronze and mother-of-pearl mount. Pommel in the shape of a lion's head crook. Jointed bow with scallop shell and dog head. Scrolled quillon splitting in two. Asymmetrical keyboard with central decoration of an eagle on a thunderbolt. Wooden spindle covered with fluted mother-of-pearl plates (fel). Blade with triangular cross-section, engraved, blued and one-third gilded. Solingen production. Oxidation, without scabbard. Total length: 95 cm France, First Empire period.
