Pair of large palace vases in copper and polychrome cloisonné enamels, with half-relief decoration depicting uncoiled dragons chasing the sacred jewel surrounded by flames on a predominantly yellow leiwen background. The scene takes place among stylized clouds in the form of lingzhi and ruyi, above foaming waves and fantastical animals. H. 140 cm.
