Vietnam, 18th-19th century
Antique bronze statuette, lacquered with bronze leaf, depicting the three-headed, six-armed Quan Am deity "Guanyin", resting in meditation on a double lotus, hands clasped in anajli mudra, left hand holding a ghanta bell, right hand possibly the Kim Cang (vajra), side hands holding sapèques. Face surmounted by a headdress adorned with the reminiscence of Amitabha.
It bears an inscription on the back.
