China, Qing period, 18th century, Gilded bronze statuette depicting the bodhisattva Avalokitésvara, seated in lalitasana "royal relaxation" on a terrace, holding the vase of immortality in his right hand and the sacred jewel in his left. The face expresses serenity, the eyes half-closed, topped by a headdress with a central reminiscence of Amitabha. Traces of blue polychromy. H. 18.2 cm
