Cécile Villeneuve (1824-1901, student of François Meuret). Miniature presenting Louis, Octave, Charles, Comte de Beauregard (1850-1911, date added later). Signed. Set in 750‰ yellow gold with royal blue textured and enameled festoon frieze, interspersed with old-cut diamonds (approx. 2.40 cts total) circa age eight. Metal retractable stand back engraved with the dates of the depicted child, with the artist's indication Cécile Villeneuve fecit. Circa 1860. Other works by Cécile Villeneuve are preserved, notably at the Musée d'Orsay. Total gross weight: 33 g; height: 5.4 cm. Miniature under Pourquery dispensation n°AR04292 dated 04/24/25
