Bronze and cloisonné enamel incense burner in the shape of a rectangular covered box.
The bowl is supported by two Persian warriors forming handles.
The body is decorated with dragons facing each other around a shou motif.
Greek friezes around the rim complete the ornamentation.
The openwork lid is decorated with interlacing stylized phoenixes, and the lid handle is in the shape of a dragon nestling among stylized clouds, resting on a lotus.
Apocryphal Xuande mark in Kaishu under the base, in a cartouche on a background of stylized clouds.
