Set of four jewelry boxes in wood and straw marquetry, the lids decorated with an Orientalist palace scene, a mountain landscape with fisherman and washerwoman, titled "Cascade du Mont d'or", a marine and a flowery bouquet. The interior contains a mirror on the top and compartments (except one) in straw marquetry or fabric. The two smaller boxes stand on four turned wooden legs. 19th century. 11 x 33.5 x 25.5 cm. 14 x 30 x 20 cm. 9.5 x 27 x 19 cm. 10.5 x 25 x 16.5 cm. (accidents to the marquetry and to a handle, stains and wear). A glass bottle with straw marquetry is included. H. 23.5 cm.
