Attached is a set of miscellaneous coins, including:
- Algiers Chamber of Commerce (10c):
- 2 Russian kopecks of 1903 and 1 Russian kopeck of 1911;
- 10 Dutch centimes from 1889 of William III (1849-1890) in silver;
- 20 Austrian Empire kreuzers of 1805 (rare Atelier A) in silver;
- 3 United Kingdom silver pence of 1891, 2nd portrait of Queen Victoria (1837-1901), by J.E. Boehm and J.B. Merlen.
This coin is one of a series of silver coins known as "Maundy coinage", which were distributed to the poor by British monarchs during the Maundy Thursday ceremony. Although legal tender, they have always been kept by numismatists and never circulated.
