CHARTER in her name, Roure [Rouvres] May 20, 1392; countersigned by Spitrel (?); oblong vellum in-4. On her daughter Catherine's dresses before her marriage to Leopold IV of Habsburg. [Catherine of Burgundy, countess of Nevers (1378-1425), was to marry Leopold IV of Habsburg (1371-1411) on 15 August 1392, according to a marriage treaty dating from 1387]. Order to pay Jean Bouchet, "tailor of the dresses of our daughter of Nevers", the sum of eight gold francs which he paid to "four cousturiers": Robinet de Varennes, Bertran de Noiron, Jehan de Memry and Jehan de Rochefort, for "seze jours quilz ont ouvré avec lui a faire", for his daughter on the occasion of "the coming of our son of Osterriche [...] the dresses and garnemens which follow": a "courset of gold vermeil cloth", another corset "of green cloth stuffed with sandal a lyons et a cerf blans", another of "velual vermeil stuffed with sandal", another "of silk vermeil cloth stuffed with sandal", another "of tabis verses stuffed with sandal, another courset descallate vermeil stuffed with sandal", another "of England green brown stuffed with sandal, a mantel descallate, a small dress descallate [....] and the singular chappirons of the ten garnemens stuffed with sandal, each worker six blans a day"... 1000/1
