Unique edition "exceedingly rare" (Oettinger). This booklet was published the day after Robespierre's execution.
Well completed with the rare woodcut portrait of Robespierre. He is shown decapitated, head held by the hair, with a tablet inscribed "Commission d'exécution". Handwritten bookplate on the back cover: "Au citoyen Fleuri".
Restored tear to the engraving, which is pasted on the back cover. Printing ink faded. Small hole with damage to the publisher's name on the title page.
