Vintage long-grained green morocco, gilt arms in the centre of the boards, gilt framing garland, ornate spine, gilt title [SIMIER R. du roi]. XII pp, 328 pp ; 100 pp. First edition. The work is illustrated with 3 folding plates engraved with etching: 1 unsigned engraved by Louis Pauquet; 1 drawn by Hippolyte Pauquet and engraved by Louis Pauquet; 1 drawn by Guillaume and engraved by Imbard. Bound afterwards: General list by department, and by alphabetical order, of MM. les souscripteurs pour le rétablissement de la statue équestre de Henri IV. >Copy in long-grained green morocco with arms attributable to Louis XVIII. O.H.R. pl. 2497, iron not recorded. Spine slightly unstained, slight wear to the lower board, cuts and corners, small tear to a plate without missing.
