"This banterful production tells the fabulous story of an estate located in the commune of Macau and belonging to M. Duffour-Dubergier, a rich merchant established in Bordeaux, mayor of this city from 1842 to 1848, who died in 1862. He had some of his friends as collaborators, in particular Mr. Biarnez, wine broker, then merchant in Bordeaux."
