Desk armchair in mahogany and mahogany veneer, the back with hat motif and caduceus decoration, tapered and fluted legs, chased and gilded bronze trim. The frame seat is upholstered in tapestry. Louis XVI period, attributed to Jean-Baptiste DEMAY (1758-1848). H. 91 - L. 62 - D.53 cm. (small accidents and missing pieces) A similar model is in the Petit Palais, Musée des Beaux Arts de la Ville de Paris, under inventory number ODUT1883(1).
