Nanjing, late 19th century. Pair of baluster-shaped vases in beige crackle-glazed ceramic, decorated in Famille rose and Famille verte enamels with equestrian jousting. The rim and base of the neck are decorated with brown bisque friezes. Four chilong and two Buddhist lions in relief complete the ornamentation. H. 30 cm (glaze chips, firing defects, neck restoration)
