MILITARIA - PAUL KAUFFER (1870-1941) Set comprising more than 120 watercolors and drawings of uniforms from the following periods: Carabiniers, Garde Impériale, Régiment d'Afrique, Infanterie légère, Hussards and others, together with engravings and reproductions. Various formats, some with artist's stamp PAUL KAUFFER - Brigadier general and watercolorist. After a long career in the artillery, in which he served during the First World War, Paul Kauffer took advantage of a well-deserved retirement to devote himself to art. He specialized in military drawings and watercolors, a field in which he gained recognition and exhibited regularly. Awards Commander of the Legion of Honor. Croix de guerre 1914-1918.
