China, late 19th century. An important wall element consisting of five glass mountings, one of which is larger. The whole depicts a court scene around the Emperor. The pediment finely carved with dragon heads, the lower part decorated in half-relief with animated scenes of characters. Some pediments are missing. Size: 130 x 200 cm
